First things first, we know finding the perfect ring can be tricky enough on its own, never mind finding the right ring size. So, while we’ve put together some helpful guides, tips, and tricks below, you can rest assured, we’re here for you every step of the way. We’ve created a printable ring sizer chart (actual size) to make finding your ring size easy – just follow these simple steps.

  • Step 1. Download & print off our chart using A4 paper
  • Step 2. Check the chart has printed to size using a credit card
  • Step 3. Place your ring on each of the circles until you find your perfect fit.

Please note this guide will not consider the style of the ring, and when looking at thicker band widths, a larger size will be needed. For more accurate ring sizing or for help, why not pop into our boutique?

Using a tape measure, find out your ring size (in mm) by measuring the circumference around the third finger on your left hand. Then, use the above UK ring size chart to find the corresponding letter.

Loupe Insiders: Tips & tricks

Our Loupe diamond connoisseur, Chloe Adlestone, has become a dab hand at fitting jewellery, so we quizzed her to find out some insider secrets (shhh).

  • Stay warm - warmer hands are better as they tend to shrink when cold.
  • From am to pm - measure your ring finger at night when your fingers are at their largest.
  • Third-time lucky - make sure to measure your finger three times to allow room for errors.
  • Size up - wider bands tend to fit more tightly than narrower bands so we recommend sizing up so your wider band doesn’t feel too tight.
  • Bigger is better - if you’re between sizes when shopping for a ring, it’s better to go with the bigger size as it’s easier to adjust than if you go with a smaller size.

Stay warm

When your hands are cold, they tend to shrink, so it’s best to measure your ring when your hands are suitably warm, to make sure you get the perfect fit.

From am to pm

Your finger size can also change throughout the day, so the best time of day to find out your ring size is at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. However, if measuring at night isn’t possible, you'll be good to go as long as the initial morning swelling has gone down.

Third-time lucky

When it comes to measuring your finger (or anything for that matter), the third time is the charm. This allows room for errors, and if you get the same size every time, you know you’re on to a good thing.

Size up

Wider bands tend to fit more tightly than narrower bands so to make sure you get the right fit; we recommend sizing up slightly, so your wider band doesn’t feel too tight.

Bigger is better

If you’re between sizes when shopping for a ring, it’s better to go with the bigger size as it’s easier to adjust than if you go with a smaller size. You may even go back and forth between sizes as you get hot and cold, so bigger is always better if this is the case.

Once you’ve bought your Loupe ring, if it doesn’t give you the heart pumps or give them the goosebumps, fear not, we can give you a full refund or an exchange, as long as it’s still in its original packaging and accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: There are some types of rings that we are unable to re-size so with this in mind, please ensure your ring is unworn if you require a different size as we may need to exchange it. For more information, please take a look at our returns policy.
